Internet Donations

This website is enabled for online donations using a secure donation server. However, despite the security on the website, you should be aware that there are inherent risks in transferring information across the Internet.

We record on our fundraising database the Internet donor’s name, address, email, telephone, amount donated, and if the funds are for a specified gift. Our fundraising database is protected by secure user IDs and passwords, to help protect it from misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

When making a donation on the Internet, you are given the option (in wording of equal size to all other information requested) to untick a box to opt out of receiving future email communications. If this is not changed, you may receive fundraising material from Women Of OZ and your email address will be added to our email database. You may remove your name from this database at any time. Our emails include an unsubscribe link to facilitate this.

Donations made to Women Of Oz are by nature, non-refundable. In the event that an error has been made such as a duplicate donation, it is up to the discretion of the Women Of OZ Board to return the duplicated donation. If an error is made, you must notify Women Of Oz in writing within 7 days. Contact can be made via email to support@womenofoz.org.au.

In the event of ticket sales for an event, Women Of Oz reserves the right to vary the refund policy according to each event type. 

Generally if a request to cancel an event ticket is requested more than 14 days before an event a full refund minus card and merchant processing fees will be issued. Cancellations and refund requests for event tickets made 14 days or less before an event, no refund will be issued.

Women Of Oz reserves the right to reschedule an event due to unforeseen events. This ay include but is not limited to severe acts of weather, problems with a venue, illness or due to global events.

Women Of Oz will periodically have items and merchandise to sell as a means of raising funds to support our Benevolent Purposes. These funds go to support those most in need. Please be careful when ordering, in selecting quantities and sizing. As a charity we cannot act like a traditional retailer and cover the costs of returns or issue refunds because you change your mind. Purchasing an item to support our work is seen as a type of donation (however not tax deductible). Every effort will be made by Women Of OZ to ensure any and all item we offer is made to the highest standards and all care is afforded in the provision of these items.

Where items are delivered by Third Parties you indemnify Women Of Oz in the case of non-delivery or theft. 

Items or services ‘purchased’ through auctions either in person or online are not governed or overseen by Women Of Oz. If you have any issues with a service provider please contact them directly. However if you are experiencing trouble or have a negative experience we would like to know so we can investigate.
